The Domaine Carmélisa estate is located in Saint-Victor-la-Coste in the Rhône Valley, between Nîmes and Avignon. After his career as a professional football player, Gilles Leclerc took over the family property and established his own winery. The estate spans 30 hectares of peaceful, stony, and mineral hillside plots surrounded by garrigue scents. The vineyards are planted with Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan. The winery practices sustainable agriculture, avoids herbicides, tills the soil, and harvests two-thirds of the grapes by hand.
