About the estate
The Domaine Berthoumieu estate was founded in the 1850s by Virgile Dutour in Viella. After several generations, Marie-Line and Didier Barré took over the property in the 1990s, establishing it as a reference in the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellations. Today, sisters Claire and Marion Bortolussi manage the 25 hectares of vineyards. The estate produces ambitious southwestern wines that consistently combine personality, identity, and balance.
