About the estate
The Crama Lacerta estate manages 36 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Dealu Mare wine region. Founded by Austrian founders, the property features a modern gravity-fed winery alongside the historic Conacul Dorobanțu built in 1901. The vineyards benefit from a sun-drenched terroir on the 45th parallel with clay-limestone soils. The grape portfolio includes red and white varieties such as Fetească Neagră, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. Winemaking combines respect for nature with modern cellar technology to produce complex and expressive wines.
The eno directory lists 49 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Fetească Neagră. The estate sells to retail and horeca.
