About the estate
The Crama Bucium estate was founded in 2019 in the heart of the Moldavian region in the village of Bohotin. The vineyards cover around 400 hectares of vines on chernozem and reddish-brown clay soils under a temperate continental climate. The portfolio includes native grape varieties such as Busuioaca de Bohotin, Feteasca Neagra, Tămâioasă Românească and Feteasca Regala, alongside international varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery produces, among others, the only Busuioaca de Bohotin in Romania with a controlled designation of origin.
