About the estate
The Crama Alira estate was founded in 2006 by businessman Karl Hauptmann and is located along the banks of the Danube in Aliman and Rasova. The vineyards cover an area of 80 hectares within the Colinele Dobrogei wine region in the Dobruja Plateau. The local humid continental climate, combined with soils rich in loess and Sarmatian shell limestone, provides ideal conditions for viticulture. The portfolio includes red, rosé, and white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, which are produced under the Oltina DOC designation.
