About the estate
The Clos Capitoro estate was founded in 1856 in Pisciatella in southern Corsica near Ajaccio. The winery spans 25 hectares of vineyards distributed between two plots, Punta di Cuccu and Capitoro. These sites benefit from a Mediterranean climate tempered by the combined influence of the sea and mountains, alongside sea winds and cool breezes from the Prunelli valley. Mild winters and generous sunshine support the balance of the vines and the quality of the grapes.
