About the estate
The Château Thénac estate was built on the ruins of a monastery founded in 1109 and is currently run by the Shvidler family. Located at an altitude of nearly two hundred metres, the vineyards extend down the slopes surrounding the château. The estate's philosophy focuses on highlighting the natural character of the terroir with elegance and gentleness. In addition to wines, the portfolio includes spirits, for which three hectares of the extensive property are dedicated to growing plums. The grounds also feature ponds, meadows, woods, and various animals.
