About the estate
The Château Plain Point estate looks back on a long history dating back to 1480. Perched on a hill overlooking the plateaus of Fronsac in Bordeaux, it benefits from a terroir defined by an oceanic climate and the confluence of rivers. The soils consist of blue clays, star-limestone, and Fronsadais molasse, providing ideal conditions for grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Franc. A custom-built, gravity-flow winery inaugurated in 2023 allows for precise plot-by-plot vinification. The estate has been committed to sustainable practices for over a decade, completely eliminating chemical herbicides and insecticides.
