About the estate
The Château Marquis de Vauban has its origins in the 17th century and was inhabited by the Duke of Saint-Simon during the era of Louis XIV. In 2001, Patrick Macé and Maryse Lepage-Macé acquired the estate, expanded the property around the grounds, and modernised both the production facilities and the historic buildings. The wines reflect the terroir of the Gironde region and convey the character of this historically rich area. The production highlights the local heritage through traditional regional offerings and estate practices.
