About the estate
The Château les Graves de Viaud estate in Pugnac was acquired in 2010 by Philippe Betschart and his family. It is located on the terroirs of Côtes de Bourg in the north of Bordeaux on the right bank of the Dordogne river. The winery operates according to organic and biodynamic practices, incorporating agroforestry and soil conservation methods. The wines and other products are crafted naturally without oenological additives and with only a small addition of sulfites. The property is certified organic as well as by Demeter and as vegan.
The estate sells to distributors.
