About the estate
Château Lafitte is a historic 14th-century manor house located in Monein within the Pyrénées Atlantiques region. The estate spans five hectares of vineyards, planted in equal parts with Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng. Philippe and Brigitte Arraou acquired the property to revive its family winemaking tradition, and their son Antoine has managed the estate since 2012. The winery operates according to organic and biodynamic principles and holds the corresponding certifications. A new, eco-responsible cellar was built in 2018, operating with solar energy and gravity-flow technology.
