About the estate
The Château La Tour de Bessan estate is located in the Médoc and originates from a 13th-century fortified tower situated in Soussans. Following various local families through its history, the property and vineyards were acquired by Lucien Lurton in 1972. In 1992, oenologist Marie-Laure Lurton took over the estate and has since directed the wine production. The winery has been involved in sustainable development for several decades.
