About the estate
The Château Grand Corbin-Despagne estate is located in the north of the Saint-Emilion appellation, bordering Pomerol, and looks back on a family history dating back to 1812 on this terroir. Managed by the seventh generation, the winery cultivates parcels featuring clay, sand, and flint soils over blue clay. The vines, primarily Merlot and Cabernet-Franc, are farmed organically and partially under biodynamic practices. Vinification is carried out plot by plot in temperature-controlled tanks, followed by barrel maturation in the cellar.
