About the estate
The Château Dauzac estate is situated by the Gironde estuary, where vines have flourished for centuries on rounded gravel ridges. Stemming from a rigorous massal selection of old vines, the property produces a rare cuvée made entirely from ungrafted Cabernet Sauvignon. Cultivation takes place in a preserved environment on fine, deep gravel soils. This traditional approach recalls winegrowing methods from the era before phylloxera. The first vintage of this exceptionally rare wine was harvested in twenty twenty-one.
