About the estate
Château Coutet has belonged to the David Beaulieu family for over 400 years and is situated on the plateau of Saint-Martin de Mazerat in Saint-Emilion. Spanning 13 hectares of vineyards, the estate has historically been farmed organically without chemical treatments, a method that is officially certified. The plantings consist predominantly of Merlot, alongside Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pressac. Viticulture is conducted entirely by hand, supported by a rich biodiversity including polyculture and the complete avoidance of herbicides and pesticides. Harvesting is likewise performed manually.
