About the estate
Purchased in 2002, Château Branas Grand Poujeaux is located in the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation on the left bank of the Gironde estuary. The estate covers 25 hectares of vineyards featuring Günz gravel soils over limestone sediments. The cultivated grape varieties include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. Each plot is vinified separately to highlight the specific terroir. The wines are aged in small oak barrels as well as in amphorae.
