The Cave coopérative vinicole de Lézan estate was founded in 1923 by 75 members. By 1979, the cooperative comprised 130 members cultivating 450 hectares of vineyards. During that period, a total of 37,794 hectolitres of table wine were vinified. Following its establishment, the building quickly underwent a series of lateral expansions.
