About the estate
The Cave Coopérative l'Espérance was founded in 1936 in Coursan by 72 winegrowers seeking to establish their own winemaking facility. Over the decades, the cooperative merged with other wineries including La Vinicole as well as facilities in Armissan and Béziers. Today, the estate spans a vineyard area of 2250 hectares. The cooperative looks back on a long-standing history rooted in solidarity and gradual expansion.
