As a commercial company of the CASTEL Group, the Castel Frères estate has adhered to the United Nations Global Compact since 2019, committing its long-term strategy to universal principles covering human rights, labor standards, anti-corruption, and the environment. The company focuses on sustainable practices such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions to work towards carbon neutrality by 2050 and lowering glass consumption through lightweight bottles for key brands like Roche Mazet and Baron de Lestac. Furthermore, more than 89 percent of the waste generated by its wine production activities is valorized for agricultural or industrial use.
