Founded in 1998, the Cantina di Collemassari estate is located in the heart of Montecucco in Tuscany and spans a total area of 1,230 hectares, with 115 hectares dedicated to vineyards. The property is managed according to an integrated, sustainable, and organic model within a natural landscape of forests, olive groves, and arable land. The primary grape variety is Sangiovese, accompanied by Ciliegiolo, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Vermentino and Grechetto for white wines. The terroir features a geological diversity of sandstone, calcareous marl, sandy clay, and sedimentary rocks. The wines produced include the Montecucco Rosso Riserva DOC and the Montecucco Sangiovese Riserva DOCG.
