Cantarutti

About the estate

The Cantarutti estate was founded in 1969 when the founder purchased the first vineyards on the hills of Rosazzo in the Colli Orientali. The initial cottage acquired in those early days has since become the administrative and production headquarters of the winery. The surrounding hills are part of a historically significant wine region whose wines were documented as crossing Italian borders as early as 1400. By the 16th century, these regional wines were served at imperial tables and sought after by patriarchs and ecclesiastics. Today, the estate continues its operations amidst the scenic landscape of this Friuli wine area.
