About the estate
The Bouchard Père et Fils estate was founded in Beaune in 1731 by Michel Bouchard and has shaped the wine landscape in Burgundy for centuries. The foundation of the family estate was laid in 1775 with the acquisition of the first plots in the Pommard 1er Cru Les Combes climate. In 1820, the family acquired the historical Château de Beaune, whose underground galleries have since served as aging cellars for the fine wines. Over the decades, the estate has continuously expanded its holdings through the addition of prestigious terroirs across the region. Starting with the 2025 vintage, all plots of the estate are certified organic according to biological farming practices.
