About the estate

The Bottwartal Kellerei looks back on a long tradition of viticulture that began in 1936 when ancestors formed the first winegrowers' cooperative in the Bottwartal with its headquarters in Großbottwar. Today, around 600 winegrower families cultivate an area of approximately 310 hectares of vineyards in renowned sites such as Lichtenberg, Wunnenstein, Harzberg, and Wartberg. The knowledge and experience of many generations shape the understanding of the region's diverse vineyard sites. Driven by a deep connection to the cultural landscape and traditional winemaking craftsmanship, the cooperative continues the local wine culture.
