About the estate
The Borostyán Pince winery features a more than 350-year-old, two-level cellar system located in the old town of Tokaj. The cellar passages, carved into loess soil and vaulted with rhyolite tuff, harbor a noble mold that contributes significantly to the characteristic flavor of the wines. The portfolio includes traditional oak-aged wines such as Furmint, Hárslevelű, Sárgamuskotály, Szamorodni, and Aszú. Guided tastings featuring selections of these wines are hosted for groups in the cellar's tasting rooms.
