The Hungarian enterprise Borbényi borászat was established in 2006, while founder László Borbényi has been engaged in viticulture since the 1980s. In the early 1990s, he acquired cultivation areas in and around Bátaszék, where he built a dedicated processing facility in the early 2000s. The core business of the estate focuses on wine production and the sale of bulk wine, although bottled wine is also produced upon order. Furthermore, the operational scope includes the purchase of wine grapes, agricultural services, and hospitality activities.
