About the estate
Founded in 2006 by David Tofterup, the Bodegas Trenza estate is today managed in partnership with his brother Jonas Tofterup MW and Jennifer Powell. The winery focuses on crafting wines from a diverse selection of grape varieties such as Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Albariño sourced across various Spanish regions. Sustainability is a core focus, with all grapes originating from dry-farmed vineyards and more than ninety percent grown organically. The portfolio includes wines from the Yecla appellation and is distributed internationally.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Mourvèdre and Alvarinho. Export markets include United Kingdom.
