About the estate

The Bodegas Luzón winery in the D.O.P Jumilla dates back to 1841, when the founder named his lands after the island of Luzon following his return from the Philippines. Today, the traditional estate cultivates around 500 hectares of vineyards at altitudes between 450 and 600 meters with diverse soils and climatic conditions. The production centers on the Monastrell grape variety, which is complemented by other varieties such as Garnacha Tintorera, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc. The wines combine the historical heritage of the region with modern cellar techniques and a focus on environmental protection.

The eno directory lists 23 wines, mostly from Mourvèdre and Macabeo. The estate sells to retail.
