About the estate
The Bodegas Cuarta Generación estate was founded in 1948 in Sotoserrano, located in the heart of the Las Batuecas – Sierra de Francia Natural Park, and has been managed in family tradition ever since. The small, artisanal parcels are situated on terraces above the Alagón River and are planted with vines that are over 60 years old. The portfolio includes the Tempranillo, Rufete, and Garnacha grape varieties, which thrive on steep slate slopes. Vineyard management combines traditional methods with modern techniques to produce distinctive wines with a strong regional identity. The winery places great emphasis on preserving its heritage and the meticulous, hand-crafted care of its old vineyards.
