About the estate
The Bodegas Carmena winery is located in the village of Carmena in the province of Toledo and looks back on a long-standing tradition. Founded in 1954 by Felipe and Tomas Muñoz Sánchez, the estate has been run as a family business across several generations. Today, Miguel Angel Muñoz manages the winery, overseeing the operation of its own vineyards as well as the modern harvesting and bottling facilities. The portfolio includes low-yield wines produced from the estate's own Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Distribution takes place through direct sales to the public at the cellar as well as deliveries to local restaurants and shops in the central region.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Pedro Ximénez. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
