About the estate
The Bodegas Altovela estate was established in 1965 and encompasses 11,000 hectares of estate vineyards with over 14 grape varieties, including Airén, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Verdejo, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, and Garnacha. The region benefits from over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and low annual rainfall, providing ideal conditions for grape cultivation and optimal maturation. The winery features advanced technology, including two bottling lines for still wines as well as sparkling wines and frizzantes. The operation produces white, red, and sparkling wines, which are distributed both nationally and internationally.
