About the estate
The history of Bodega Rubicón dates back to 1570, marking the earliest written records concerning the historic Cortijo de La Geria estate. Following devastating volcanic eruptions in the 18th century, the land was replanted with vines, transforming the area into a prominent wine region. In 1979, Don Germán López Figueras acquired the property to dedicate himself to traditional winemaking. Today, this historical heritage is proudly maintained and managed by his descendants of the López-Grimón family. The estate belongs to the Vinos de Lanzarote denomination and is located within the La Geria Natural Park.
