About the estate
Established in 1950, the Bodega D. Juan del Águila estate located in El Barraco was originally founded as a cooperative winery. Following a corporate restructuring in 2007, the enterprise is currently owned by the local community and nearly 100 winegrowers who supply the raw materials. Production focuses on wines with a protected designation of origin crafted from centenarian Garnacha vines. The winery produces approximately 250,000 litres of wine annually, with a strong commitment to quality, the preservation of old vineyards in the Gredos region, and international market expansion.
