About the estate
The Bode Hortanza winery was established in 2014 in Guriezo in the Cantabria region with the objective of reviving traditional local viticulture. Already in the nineteenth century, the valley was characterized by vineyards attached to local gardens before cultivation shifted toward other crops and pastures. Today, the estate has expanded its vineyard area and offers both its wine, which is served in regional restaurants, and a rural lodging situated directly by the vines. The wines reflect the distinct aromas of the nearby coast and the surrounding land.
