About the estate
The Birnstingl winery is located in Gamlitz in South Styria and is run by Otmar, Daniela, Lukas and Christina in the fourth generation. The history of the family business dates back over 100 years. Grapes ripen in the surrounding vineyards, shaped by the interaction of Pannonian and Illyrian climates. The philosophy of the estate is based on the production of high-quality grapes and a calm, extended maturation in the wine cellar. In addition to winemaking, the estate operates a guesthouse amidst the vineyards.
