The Bezirkskellerei Markgräflerland eG winery sources the grapes for its wines from the entire Markgräflerland region, stretching from the Batzenberg in the north to the Grenzacher Hornfelsen in the south. The vines thrive on gentle hills where grey limestone and cream-coloured loess meet the sunniest climate in Germany. The wines are produced from yield-reduced vineyards, undergo careful selection, and are consistently vinified dry. Drawing on the collective expertise of its winegrowers, the estate creates distinctive and typical wines that reflect the diversity of this origin.
