About the estate
The Barcza Bálint, Kőkonyha borterasz estate manages a total of five hectares of vineyards on the southern slopes of the Somló and on the Csobánc hill within the Badacsony wine region. The family looks back on a long winemaking tradition, with historical records documenting their estates back to the mid-nineteenth century. Traditional grape varieties such as Furmint, Juhfark, Hárslevelű, and Welschriesling are cultivated in the vineyards. The portfolio mainly consists of full-bodied, fiery, mineral-driven, and acidic dry wines, alongside sweet specialties. Guests are welcomed at the winery's wine terrace located on Somló.
