About the estate
The Bakkanali estate was founded in 2021 by two friends with professional backgrounds in Montalcino. The winery manages 4.5 hectares of vineyards distributed across different plots on Mount Amiata in Tuscany. The vineyards are located in distinct areas such as Poggioferro at an altitude of 600 meters and Pescina at 800 meters. The production includes Sangiovese and Cabernet for red wines as well as selections from high-altitude plots for white wines. The soils are characterized by volcanic activity alongside marine sediments and various limestone rock formations.
