About the estate
The Babu's Vineyard estate is located in Weston Longville, Norfolk, and was established in 2009 by Peter Ross. The vineyards are planted predominantly with Solaris and Rondo vines, which are used to produce white, red, and rosé wines. The name of the family business derives from the Swahili word for grandfather. Following the opening of the winery in 2014, the artisan business has continuously produced wines that receive numerous medals at competitions. Visitors can experience the estate through guided vineyard tours and tastings.

Named after Parson Woodforde the 18th century diarist who lived in the Old Rectory next to the vineyard. Made from our rondo grapes this was in oak barrel for 14 months before being bottled in March 2023
