About the estate
The Babaneuris Marani estate nestles in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus mountain range in Kakheti and encompasses eleven hectares of vineyards directly adjacent to the property. The winery produces wines from four Georgian grape varietals: Saperavi, Mtsvane, Kisi and Rkatsiteli. The wines are made in Qvevris, traditional earthenware amphoras buried in the cool earth, following a tradition practiced in Georgia for over 8,000 years. In addition to the vineyards and cellar, the property features a boutique hotel and a restaurant.
