About the estate
The Azienda Agricola Marinig estate has been based in Prepotto within the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC since 1808 and is currently run in the sixth generation. The winery cultivates eight hectares of vineyards situated on eocene marl and clay-limestone soils, benefiting from a microclimate moderated by Adriatic winds. Agricultural practices favor natural cover crops and minimal treatments in the vineyard to preserve the historical integrity of the vines. The portfolio includes both international classics and traditional Friilian grape varieties such as Friulano, Schioppettino di Prepotto, Refosco, and Pignolo. Vinification in the cellar follows traditional methods while respecting the specific characteristics dictated by the terroir.
