About the estate

The Azienda Agricola Guardiani Farchione estate cultivates twelve hectares of vineyards in Tocco da Casauria at the foothills of the Majella and Morrone mountains in the Abruzzo region. Situated at an altitude of 360 meters in the Ceppete area with clay soils, the vineyards are planted with the grape varieties Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Passerina. The winery follows organic and environmentally conscious farming methods designed to protect the ecosystem and minimize environmental impact. The maturation of the wines takes place in historical underground cellars carved entirely from tufa and Majella stone. The produced wines fall under appellations such as Abruzzo DOC, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC, and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC.
