About the estate
The Arvad estate was established in 2016 on the banks of the Arade River with a view of Silves. Spanning fourteen hectares of vineyards characterized by a Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influences and clay-limestone soils, the property cultivates various grape varieties. The portfolio includes red varieties such as Negra Mole, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as white varieties like Alvarinho, Arinto, and Sauvignon Blanc. Winemaking is overseen by winemaker Bernardo Cabral, with the first harvest taking place in 2019. In addition to wine production, the estate also offers wine tourism facilities.
The eno directory lists 10 wines, mostly from Negra Mole and Touriga Nacional.
