About the estate
The Arnaldo Caprai winery was founded in 1971 by Arnaldo Caprai in Montefalco and has been managed by his son Marco Caprai since 1986. The estate currently manages 160 hectares of vineyards in Umbria, focusing on a meticulous approach that combines tradition with ongoing research and experimentation in agronomy and enology. A central commitment of the estate is the elevation of the native Sagrantino grape, alongside the cultivation of other local and international grape varieties. Through scientific collaboration and quality-driven production, the estate has played a key role in establishing the international reputation of the region's wines.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Sagrantino and Grechetto.
