About the estate

The Antiche Cantine Migliaccio estate was founded in the year 2000 by Emanuele Vittorio and his wife Luciana Sabino on the island of Ponza in the unspoiled area of Punta Fieno. The history of viticulture in this location dates back to 1734 when Pietro Migliaccio cultivated the land and introduced grape varieties such as Biancolella, Forastera, Guarnaccia, Aglianico, and Piedirosso. Emanuele Vittorio restored these ancient, ungrafted vines from overgrowth and continues the operation by combining traditional methods with modern oenological techniques. With the expertise of winemaker Vincenzo Mercurio, the estate produces wines defined by the unique pedoclimatic conditions of the site.
