About the estate
The family-owned Albino Piona estate looks back on a history dating back to 1893 and is currently managed in the fourth generation. The winery farms over 45 hectares of vineyards across Sommacampagna, Valeggio, Sona, and Villafranca in the heart of the Custoza wine-growing region. Production focuses on wines from the Custoza and Bardolino denominations as well as specialties such as Verde Piona. All steps from grape harvesting to storage take place directly at the winery in Villafranca di Verona. The estate places an emphasis on environmentally friendly production and a short-chain manufacturing process.
