About the estate
The Albino Armani Terre di Plovia estate is dedicated to the rediscovery and protection of native grape varieties through experimental oenology in the Alto Friuli region. The vineyards are situated in an intact landscape shaped by forests and the Tagliamento river, featuring soils composed of silt, sand, and clay. This historical terroir yields two distinctive blends: the white wine Flum made from Sciaglin, Chardonnay, and Friulano, and the red wine Piligrin crafted from Piculit Neri and Merlot. The production methods combine traditional heritage with modern cellar techniques, vinifying the grape varieties separately before blending them into complex wines.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Piculit Neri and Merlot.
