About the estate

Founded in 1956 by a group of winegrowers, the Adega Cooperativa de Valpaços winery currently has around two thousand members and serves as a reference at both regional and national levels. The estate processes millions of kilograms of grapes sourced from selected regional grape varieties of superior quality. An environment shaped by a specific microclimate and warm temperatures during the ripening period favors wines with a higher alcohol content. The portfolio includes products with protected designation of origin as well as wines from the Trás-os-Montes DOC and Vinho Regional Transmontano denominations. These wines are distributed in the domestic market as well as in Europe, Brazil, the United States, and Angola.
