The De Bacco winery in Feltre in Veneto is managed by the siblings Marco and Valentina, who took over the estate as a full-time occupation in 2008. The family's winemaking history in the region dates back to the early 20th century. Thanks to the dedication of previous generations, ancient native grape varieties such as Pavana, Gata, and Bianchetta Fonzasina have been preserved to the present day. The vineyards are situated in the historical wine-growing area of Feltrino at the foot of the Dolomites on steep, calcareous alluvial fans of Mount Aurin. Today, the estate cultivates these challenging mountain sites while respecting tradition, producing wines from both indigenous and international grape varieties.
