Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut La Casa di Bricciano liegt im Herzen der Toskana in Gaiole in Chianti und wurde im Jahr 1990 gegründet. Die Rebfläche umfasst 3,8 Hektar bei einer Gesamtfläche von 22,5 Hektar auf den oberen Hängen eines Hügels in rund 550 Metern Höhe. Die Böden sind flachgründig und reich an Schiefer, was den angebauten Rebsorten Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon und Ancellotta ideale Bedingungen bietet. Der Betrieb arbeitet streng biologisch, nutzt ausschließlich organische Naturprodukte und ist seit 2009 zertifiziert. Die Familie führt das Anwesen in Handarbeit und erzeugt eine begrenzte Menge an Weinen der Denominationen Chianti Classico DOCG und Toscana IGT.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 6 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Sangiovese und Cabernet Sauvignon. Der Betrieb beliefert Handel. Exportiert wird unter anderem nach Vereinigtes Königreich.
